Laugh Box

We have a Laugh Box. I think we heard about it in the FamilyFun magazine from another family who did this great idea. Our Laugh Box is a smallish box where we keep the funniest family memories on scraps of paper. Occasionally, when words aren't enough, there are pictures. Like Dad covered in white paint when he tested out what would happen if you puncture a spray paint can. Ooops...don't do it. We love to pull out this box of memories and just laugh and laugh. We talked today about it being the greatest tradition we ever started. I realized too, that this is one tradition that will grow with our family as the kids leave home and have families of their own. One more thing to hold us together! One we added this week was from G--8 years old--on eating fish, "My throat won't accept it." Maybe you'd have to have been there but that's just it, for us, we were.
