My boys (and that includes my husband) are involved with an "Almost Everything Goes" pinewood derby. There was some mixed feelings when they got their kits because we all feel like we have no time to do more things. However, we set aside some time and the boys have been having a blast designing and building their cars. We've been through a few test runs and we'll see the results of the race tonight. The first picture's is J's motorized vehicle, and the second is X's blow dryer powered one. Dad's is still in the shop being worked on....
Very fun event! The most fun was seeing all the different ways people came up with to move their cars down the track! It was amazing and fun to watch! I'd like to build a track now and just let the kids test out different ways to get cars down the track because there are so many ways to try. Good thinking experience!
