Dear Family,
I was instructed to write home! Tonight is my first night in the MTC. Today has been incredible and long. It’s hard to believe that I slept in my bed last night. I am doing my best to completely and immediately immerse myself in the work. Rango Rango Rango!
We got to do some role playing this evening. It was interesting because there were 240 missionaries to one investigator. I am going to love the role playing though! That experience also showed me how awesomely Preach My Gospel outlines things.
****Time has passed***
It is now my third night in the MTC. Sorry I have not sent this sooner! I am being fed, loved, and looked over. Mother your son is happy and healthy.
I know more Spanish now than I have ever known. I got to teach my first investigator this evening with my companion. Almost the whole thing was in broken Spanish. Her name is Renatta (really my teacher but completely in character and Argentinean.)
My companion, Elder Burton, is way too awesome for the rest of us and is being moved to intermediate Spanish. I will probably be placed in a group of three with a couple other Elders in my district (classroom).
Much Love!
Jake
Excuse me…Elder Green
