Today we took a family survey. I think that it is nice to get reminded about what everyone likes and dislikes. After the survey we passed out paper clovers. Everyone got four. The game is that every time you do a service for someone in the family you give them a clover. You are trying to have the least clovers by St. Patrick's Day. The one with the least clovers gets to skip their chores on St Patrick's Day and the one stuck with the most clovers gets to be helpful and do the chores for them. The survey helps get us focus on each other. The answers were priceless and we'll be saving them in our big family scripture book so that we can pull them out and read them every once in awhile. Here is a copy of the survey: (With the last questions about each member of the family we told them to try to put something no one else would put and they all did really good with that!) 1. What makes you laugh?
2. What food do you dislike the most?
3. If you had a day with absolutely no responsibilities what would you choose to do?
4. What is one thing you wish you had help with?
5. What is your favorite story of all times? Book, Picture Book, Movie, etc.
6. What is your favorite candy bar?
7. Name the perfect meal.
8. Name a hero you admire. (Can be fictional)
9. What is one talent that you WISH you had?
10. Name something G likes.
11. Name something X likes.
12. Name something S likes.
13. Name something J likes.
14. Name something Mom likes.
15. Name something Dad likes.
This reminds me of the game Apples to Apples that our family likes to play. I'm sure you guys already know about that one. It is great for all ages so it works well for us.
